Hula hoop exercise is different. It is the most fun way of trimming inches off your waist. It won’t require you long hours in the gym or at your home exercise center. Weighted hula hoops can be a good addition to your exercise program, especially if you’re able to hula hoop for at least 10 minutes at a time. In fact, any type of hula hooping, with a weighted hula hoop or a regular hula hoop, can help you meet your exercise goals.

Weighted hula hoops are bigger and heavier than traditional hula hoops. You can use a weighted hula hoop as part of an overall fitness program, to add variety to your workouts, or simply as a fun way to get more active. Keep in mind that for most healthy adults, the Department of Health and Human Services recommends getting at least 150 minutes a week of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes a week of vigorous aerobic activity.

If you try a weighted hula hoop, use a hula hoop that’s the right size for you. The hoop should reach somewhere between your waist and chest when it’s resting vertically on the ground. The weight of the hoop is up to you. The smaller and lighter the hoop, the more energy it takes to keep the hoop going. But the bigger and heavier the hoop, the easier it is to keep going, which means you may be able to do it for a longer period of time. You can experiment with different hoops to see which kind and size you prefer. Weighted hula hoops are available at many sporting goods stores and online retailers, and even at some fitness clubs.

Check with your doctor before using any kind of hula hoop if you have medical concerns, especially a history of back problems. And as with any physical activity, stop hula hooping and consult your doctor if you develop pain or other symptoms.

The big deal is… that it has become the latest and most effective way to trim your waist and strengthen your core muscles! It is not only simple but it takes less time to flatten your stomach and lose the stubborn belly fat than any other ab workout. I have had enough sit-ups to last a life time. As an ex athlete I’m tired of sitting on the floor and straining my neck and back muscles for something that if not done exactly right doesn’t work anyway. It just makes sense that targeting this area with water resistance and focus can work.
Achieve fat loss in inches and rock hard abs in no time at all. Use a calorie counter while you do it! Using it several times a day for about 5-10 minutes you will raise your metabolism and quickly notice results!

Making my workout as efficient and targeted as possible is  what I like. I went swim suit and spring shopping over the weekend. I pretty sure that we all know about that wonderful lighting and full length mirror that has a devils name on it. Big, tall MAN or woman, young, old, small we all have body issues.

It is my mission to help and jump start our attitude walking into this venture. I know all about sticking your head in the sand and hoping when you pull it out things will be different. They won’t. Trust me. So where to start?

Make friends with yourself again and give yourself a break. What we think we are. Stop the internal dialog that keeps you from being free and light! Get some excitement going and most of all hope. Grab your water weighted hula hoop that has been laying there and use it! I don’t sell the hoops that you light on fire and do dance with. Mine are for core fitness and redefining your body. Read your kindle or watch Dr. Oz while you do it. Tired? Put it down, go do your chores and pick it back up for a little longer this time,.. and so on and so forth.

It’s way different with hula hoop exercise. This type of exercises is the most enjoyable way of burning calories. You don’t need a special trainer. You don’t have to go to the gym either. You can do the exercises right from the comforts of your home – in your bedroom even. Just devote a few minutes several times a day to sweat on a hula hoop. Then you’ll get the perfect abs you want in no time.

Without this, it’s pointless to even bother with this.. Spend the extra money, it’s only $30 or so for a really good, well made weighted hula hoop. Don’t go for the cheap $3-4 kid’s hoops at Wal-Mart. At first glance, you may think using a weighted hula hoop would make it fall to the ground more due to the added weight. Well, you’d be wrong. It’s the exact opposite. A weighted hula hoop rotates slower. Thus, it’s easier for you to twirl around your waist and control. End result… it isn’t falling to the ground every 5 seconds.

A normal hula hoop is light and rotates fast. It’s very hard to control it. If you don’t gyrate your hips fast enough, it’s going to the ground. AND OFTEN. This fast becomes a waste of your time. You need to be able to twirl

Hula hoop exercise gives you the ability to focus on having

a smaller waist. Just work on your hula hoop five times a day or more. That’s all you have to do. No complicated techniques. No special routines to learn about. Learn how you can whirl the hoop around your waist the longest time you can. Or schedule a two-minute session every hour to do some routines. That would definitely chop off several inches off your waist easily.

I have found that using the a water-weighted hula hoop has a calming effect on inflammation and stomach pain. It’s gentle and relaxing almost like a massage.

After many years of doing stomach crunches and situps I have found that this method, using a water-weighted hula hoop is much easier on my back and stomach than traditional exercises.

It’s just like being a kid again and takes you to your happy place while you burn away your midsection.
